Welcome,
from Will and Michelle!
Originating from the North and London, Will and Michelle arrived at the Cowdray in October 2020.
Having taken over the Cowdray in October 2020, it would be fair to say we were not living in normal times. Within weeks of arriving, Boris, put us all into our second lockdown. During this time, Will and Michelle were busy giving the Cowdray some well deserved TLC in preparation for reopening.
Before the Cowdray, Will was a successful constructor overseeing projects and staff after coming out of the Military. Michelle brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in the hospitality industry. Michelle has owned various restaurants including one on the famous King’s Road in London.
Of course, you will also have to meet Bertie, Flo and Ernie as they are the resident animals of the Cowdray.
So, please do come along to dine or drink with us and meet Will, Michelle and the team. The Cowdray family have been so grateful for all of your continuing support.

"Where can i start. Upon arrival we were met and greeted with such care and friendly smiles. We were checked into our room-which was amazing, a food hamper, tea coffee, fridge facilities. Spotless bathroom and room. Staff are friendly, happy, nothing is too much of an issue. Everyone is happy to help and go above and beyond to make you happy and comfortable. "The Cowdray Arms hosted the wake for my Father's funeral last Friday and they were brilliant. The food was amazing. Our Gluten free guests were looked after very well indeed and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and all with a smile too. We weren't rushed out, nor were we kept in a single area - it was such a beautiful day, many of our guests stayed outside. The sausage rolls are absolutely amazing.... so if you don't eat anything else there, try them! Thank you to the whole team for looking after us so well. Made a sad day much better."
